Muscat de Rivesaltes on LanguedocWineshop : The appellation covers 90 villages in the Pyrénées-Orientales département and nine villages in the Aude. Powerful and intense, the Muscat d’Alexandrie grapes confer the depth and aromas of ripe fruit, fresh grapes and rose petals to the wines. Fine and fresh, the small grain Muscat grapes develop scents of exotic fruit, mint and lemon. The Muscat de Noël is the first Muscat de Rivesaltes produced after tasting each year's harvest. The sales of these wines start on the third Thursday of November and finish at the end of January.
