Located on the chalk and limestone foothills of the Montagne Noire, vineyards are located at 50m in altitude near the banks of the Midi canal, climbing up to more than 500m. AOC since 1999, the Minervois La Livinière appellation is in the heart of the Minervois area on the grounds of 6 villages producing only red wines. A full-bodied Minervois red. The aromas of red and black fruit develops over notes of Spring garrigue scrub and finishes on sweet spicy notes. A very agreeable vintage of character, to be tasted now as the tannins are so subtle.
