Leading red wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon
Buy selected French red wines with a taste of the terroir
Languedoc Wineshop is proud to present its red wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon, specially selected from producers to give you the authentic taste of the terroir. The Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard is to be found in four departments – Aude, Gard, Hérault and Pyrénées-Orientales – which stretch from France’s border with Spain, along the Mediterranean coastline, into Provence. The area produces a wide diversity of French red wines that enjoy IGP, AOC and AOP Languedoc status, with no fewer than 18 Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée in the Languedoc and 13 Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée in the Roussillon. Each terroir is characterised by specific soils, climates and particular grape varieties, and so each produces its own unique style of wine. We buy our red wines direct from the winemakers, and so give you the opportunity to discover and enjoy the finest French red wines at unbeatable prices. Corbières, Faugères, Fitou, Minervois, Pic Saint Loup, Saint Chinian... these are just a few of the red wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon that we’ve chosen for you.
