Details
In 1999, Eric Laguerre took over the family domaine, breaking with tradition by reducing grape yields in favour of quality rather than quantity. Chemical fertilizers and weed killers were replaced by organic and tea composts. These have a beneficial effect on the life of the soil, preserving its structure and minimizing erosion which is important on these steeply sloping, sun-bathed vineyards.
