Wine makers from father to son for five generations, Pierre Fabre retrieved his origins when he took over the Château de Gaure in 2004. The talented oenologist Marc Bertrand joined him in 2005 and both decided to bring the Château de Gaure to be a reference for great wines from the Languedoc. The renowned adviser J-A Bloc joined the team, introducing his knowledge and experience to define methods for producing high class wines. Château de Gaure attained recognition with the second vintage, confirming the ambition to produce top of the range wines amongst the best of the Languedoc from the Limoux AOC.
