Details
In 1929, the Cave Anne de Joyeuse was created to vinify red wines from Limoux in the upper valley of the Aude river. In 1972, the grape producers, becoming more and more aware of the exceptional quality of their terroir, started to replant their vineyards in noble grape varieties : Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon et Chardonnay. The Cave Anne de Joyeuse thereby managed the first and largest southern vineyard by specific plot selection.
Particularly concerned by the ecological balance of their vineyards and the beauty of the countryside of the Limoux area, the producers of the Cave Anne de Joyeuse are engaged in the protection of the environment and have signed the Protect Planet charter which has become a cornerstone of their philosophy.
