Quick Overview

With a red, ruby robe, this wine develops intense notes of pepper, mulberry, bramble and black cherries. It is soft with crunchy fruit, refreshing on the palate. Details

The Domaine Coston is a family domaine located a few kilometres from the Saint Guilhem le Désert abbey. In the heart of the Aniane and Puéchabon terroirs, the domaine's 12 hectares of vines are planted on clay and limestone terraces. These are soils which exhale scents of Mediterranean heath land plants (thyme, rosemary, wild basil, cade...) under an exceptionally beneficial climate. Inspired by their family's love for their vineyard, the Coston brothers renovated, in 2000, the cellar built by their grandfather and bottled, two years later, their first Coteaux du Languedoc wines. They cultivate traditional grape varieties which are part of local viticultural history and are well adapted to their terroirs (50 year old Carignan vines, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault vines planted between 20 and 30 years ago). These vines, selected for their characteristics and low yields, require particular attention to produce wines of exceptional quality. The wines of the Domaine Coston are regularly rewarded at the Millésime Bio wine exhibition held each year in Montpellier.
