Red wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon on Languedoc Wineshop : The Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard spreads over four départements : Aude, Gard, Hérault and  Pyrénées-Orientales. There are 18 Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée in the Languedoc and 13 Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée in the Roussillon with a wide diversity of terroirs. Each one represents specific soils, climates and particular grape varieties from which unique wine styles are produced.
